Like the first part, it also talks about the horrific manner in which fundamentalist Muslims forcibly convert innocent Hindu girls by pretending to have love affairs with them. The story depicts the horrific experiences of three Hindu girls who are trapped by three different Muslim boys. Overall, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is a well made film but with a rushed climax. It will perform well at the box-office as its collections will increase due to strong and favorable mouth publicity.

While secularism is an obvious goal, writers Vipul Amritlal Shah and Amarnath Jha also try to reverse the criticism of the previous film. When Surekha accuses her parents of being Islamophobic, they are horrified. The victim’s parents were told not to talk like right-wing radicals. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond lives up to its title. The film goes far beyond its predecessor.

The first installment of “The Kerala Story” and the trailer of Kerala Story 2 had already revealed what exactly the film holds. Therefore, there is no thrill factor, suspense factor or twist factor in it to keep the audience engaged. It is simply about seeing how each male antagonist betrays and tortures the female heroes.
