But will the audience want to see something on the big screen that they can never see on the small screen? No filmmaker has been able to fight the unpredictability of the audience. This is the time when hyper-masculine stories seem to be the flavor of the season. We all saw that with the successes of _Dhurandhar_ and Border 2. ‘Bhabhi Ghar Par Hain’ is a harmless and honest attempt to make something for celluloid. It seems like the timing is not right.

Is Bhabhiji at home? The true meaning of having fun running is keeping things simple. It’s difficult to expand a sitcom into a feature film, but the producers manage to preserve the essence without exaggerating the premise. Jaspal Singh Sandhu has done his work with complete honesty. He started his directorial journey with Slaughter, and with Slaughter 2, he has taken his craft even further.

Many slapstick comedies in the past have relied on crude humor and double meaning jokes, yet managed to hold together as stories. Even that balance is missing here. You might be wise to keep your distance from this film, unless blatant bombast and shameless absurdity is exactly what you want.
